There’s no denying that I WORSHIP being productive, or at least trying as much as I can to do so, and I realise that being productive all year round is not possible,
as everyone gets through their highs and lows. This made me try -throughout the past couple of years- to understand my body’s fluctuations and live with them.

While I was going through my months, I started noting how my productivity levels and what factors played in making me feel my best, and at what time.

I had started noticing that each month I’d get this dose of “I want to get all the things done”, I’d start new projects, work on a painting, and have creative abrupt
ideas. After 4-5 days the ideas start calming down, and I start to get bored.

I used to think I could never get anything done, I’d start working on things but never actually get them done, and that’s mainly because I failed to understand my own
state of mind throughout the month, which in return resulted in a month gone to waste. A new project every month, started but never finished.

These “ups” in my productivity levels I thought were random were actually happening right around the same time each month, and when I looked further into the factors
that affected these periods of time (see what I did there), I found them to be connected to my menstrual cycle.

How is that you ask? I’ll tell you.. Now right about days 23-25 of my cycle, I start getting those urges that I need to work, rivers of ideas and thoughts start going
through my brain (sometimes negative, sometimes positive). Not understanding this leads me to:

1- either start a new project, a new painting, a new idea,.. etc on -let’s say- day 24 but then on day 2 or 3 next month get bored with it and scratch it off my things
to do list.
2- or get into a state mild depression where i stay in bed all day thinking of al the work I should be doing.

I have figured out a couple of things to do to combat these things, so
